Whenever Geraldine Flies From Switzerland To Indonesia, Ridwan Kamil Gives A Guarantee To Take Care Of All Your Needs

JAKARTA - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil expressed his gratitude to a Swiss citizen, Geraldine Beldi who is an elementary school teacher (SD). Geraldine was the one who first found the body of Emmeril Khan Mumtadz in the Aare River, Bern, Switzerland.

"Danke Mrs. Geraldine Beldi @geraldine_beldi. Hatur Nuhun. Thank you," wrote Ridwan in his Instagram account, @ridwankamil quoted Saturday, June 11.

Emil, Ridwan Kamil's nickname, also promised to host Geraldine if he came to Indonesia for a vacation. He delivered this promise directly to Geraldine.

"Mrs. Geraldine, if you want to go on vacation to Indonesia, please let me know. Later, I will take care of everything as our gratitude," he said while imitating his promise in the meeting.

The meeting took place after Emil asked his team to look for Geraldine, who found Eril's body in the Aare River while walking to his teaching place. Based on Emil's story, Geraldine immediately contacted the police.

"Finally, Eril's body can be found and saved properly," said Emil.

Geraldine herself, continued Emil, often looked at the river when she walked to her workplace after hearing the news that Eril was lost in the current.

"We residents of Bern City, know all about Eril's news. So every time I walk, I always look towards the Aare river. And it turns out that I found it. My condolences, sir," wrote Ridwan imitating Geraldine's statement.

"That's roughly how the conversation went. Eril came here (Switzerland, ed) with the intention of learning, in the end his destiny was saved by a kind and simple teacher," he added.

As previously reported, Eril, who was dragged by the river while swimming with his sister and a friend, was finally found dead.

The body of Ridwan Kamil's eldest son was found in Bern's Engehalde Dam at 06.50 am Swiss time or 11.50 am WIB after a two-week search.

The plan is that Eril will be buried in a family-owned cemetery in Cimaung District, Bandung Regency.
