The Stabbing Of Residents In Intan Jaya Papua Turns Out To Be A KKB Member

JAYAPURA - The joint Ops Damai Cartenz team has arrested a suspect in the stabbing of a resident of Intan Jaya, Papua.

The team arrested the suspect with the initials FS. FS is an Active KKB member.

The Head of Public Relations of the Papuan Police, Kombes A. Mustofa Kamal, said that FS' arrest began with the investigation into the case of Asep Saputra's stabbing in April 2021.

"After receiving the information, we managed to secure the suspect and then we will develop it," he said in a written statement, Wednesday, June 8.

Suspect FS from the investigation is known to be a network procuring ammunition for KKB. There were 10 rounds of Cal 5.56 MM ammunition secured.

"In addition to the stabbing case, the suspect FS is also the ammunition procurement network for the KKB. Then we will develop it and we will inform you again," said Kamal.
