JAKARTA - The Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights cooperates with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of East Java to search the Pamekasan Narcotics Prison. The search was carried out in the middle of the night.

A total of 75 joint officers from the ranks of the BNNP and the UPT of the Regional Office of the East Java Ministry of Law and Human Rights were deployed in the search.

Meanwhile, the Head of the East Java BNN, Brigadier General M Aris Purnomo, stated that his party greatly appreciated the steps taken by the East Java Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

"This is a positive program because more and more stakeholders are committed to eradicating narcotics illicit trafficking. The commemoration of the International Anti-Narcotics Day (HANI) is a good medium to strengthen this commitment," he said.

On that occasion, the Regional Office of the East Java Ministry of Law and Human Rights did not only conduct raids, but also held a urine test to determine whether there were narcotics in the bodies of the residents of the Pamekasan Narcotics Prison.
