TNI Proposes Additional Budget Of IDR 32 Trillion In 2023

JAKARTA - The TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa said his institution proposed an additional budget of Rp32 trillion because the TNI received an indicative ceiling in 2023 of Rp103 trillion.

"For the TNI's indicative ceiling in 2023, there is a decrease (compared to 2022) which is only Rp. 103 trillion. We also propose the need for an additional 2023 budget of Rp. 32 trillion," said General Andika after the Commission I Working Meeting (Raker) of the DPR in the DPR building, Jakarta, quoted by Antara. In the working meeting, he also conveyed the realization of the TNI's budget in 2021, namely from the budget ceiling of Rp. 108 trillion and the absorbed amounting to Rp. 98.8 trillion.

The DPR Commission I Working Meeting took place behind closed doors and was attended by the Deputy Minister of Defense, Commander of the TNI, Kasad, Kasal, and Kasau.

The working meeting discussed the realization and evaluation of the implementation of the 2021 FY APBN as well as the discussion of the Work and Budget Plan (RKA) and Government Work Plan (RKP) of the Ministry of Defense (Kemhan) for 2023.
