JAKARTA - Chairman of the Pro Jokowi Volunteers (Projo) Budi Arie Setiadi once said that the formation of the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) was a genius move from the Golkar Party. However, until now Projo has not determined their position to support KIB.

According to him, his current visit is related to the presidential election which will be held in 2024. Because as a volunteer, his party is a specialist in presidential elections.
"The 2024 legislative and presidential elections will be held simultaneously, the party will take care of the legislative elections and Projo is a specialist in the presidential election," Budi said, as quoted by Antara.
Meanwhile, KIB was formed by three parties, namely the Golkar Party, the United Development Party (PPP) and the National Mandate Party (PAN), while Budi Arie, not from the three internal parties.
During the gathering, Budi Arie was seen sitting at a table with the Chairman of the Golkar Party Advisory Council Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Advisory Council Hatta Rajasa, Youth and Sports Minister Zainudin Amali and Golkar Party Advisory Council Chairman Aburizal Bakrie.
