President Signs Presidential Decree On The Cost Of Hajj 2022

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo signed Presidential Decree (Keppres) No. 8 of 2022 concerning Amendments to Presidential Decree No. 5 of 2022 concerning Costs of Organizing Hajj (BPIH) of 1443 H/2022 AD.

The Presidential Decree is an amendment to Presidential Decree Number 5 of 2022 concerning BPIH of 1443 Hijriah/2022 AD which is sourced from Hajj Travel Costs, Benefit Values, and Efficiency Funds.

In a copy of the Presidential Decree on the www.jdih.setneg.go.id page, quoted by Antara, Friday, June 3, it was explained that the consideration of the issuance of the Presidential Decree was related to changes in the policy of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding the package of community service fees for the Hajj Pilgrimage in 1443 Hijri.

The Presidential Decree changed the amount of BPIH Year 1443 Hijri/2022 AD which was sourced from Regional Hajj Officers and Guidance Group Guidance for Hajj and Umrah, as follows:

a. Aceh Embarkation amounting to Rp93,692,770,05

b. Medan Embarkation amounting to Rp.94,424,986.05

c. Batam Embarkation amounting to Rp97,717,922.05

d. Padang Embarkation in the amount of IDR 95,443,393.05

e. Palembang Embarkation in the amount of IDR 97,837,922.05

f. Jakarta Embarkation (Pondok Gede) in the amount of IDR 97,917,922.05

g. Embarkation for Jakarta (Bekasi) in the amount of IDR 97,917,922.05

h. Solo Embarkation amounting to Rp.98,294,634.05

i. Surabaya Embarkation amounting to Rp100,617,922.05

j. Banjarmasin Embarkation amounting to Rp99,267,203.05

k. Balikpapan Embarkation amounting to Rp99,394,503.05

l. Lombok Embarkation amounting to IDR 99,679,654.05

m. Makassar Embarkation in the amount of IDR 100,718,419.05

In the Presidential Decree there is also a change in the amount of BPIH for the Year 1443 Hijriah/2022 AD which is sourced from the Value of Benefits and Efficiency Funds for Regular Hajj Pilgrims in the amount of Rp. 5,395,746,393,353.34.

The Presidential Decree was stipulated by President Jokowi on Thursday (2/6) and is effective from the date it was stipulated.
