DKI Provincial Government Again Wins WTP Opinion From BPK 5 Times In A Row

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government under the leadership of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has again won the Unqualified Predicate (WTP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's financial report for the 2021 fiscal year.

This WTP predicate is the fifth time that it has been maintained in a row since 2017.

This was conveyed by the Head of the DKI Jakarta BPK Representative Office, Dede Sukarjo, in the plenary meeting of the submission of the audit report on the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's financial statements for the 2021 fiscal year.

"Based on the examination carried out by BPK on the 2021 DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's financial reports, BPK gives an unqualified opinion," said Dede in a plenary meeting at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Tuesday, May 31.

After the WTP opinion was read, the DKI Provincial Government ASN who were present in the plenary meeting room cheered and clapped. A banner that reads "Jakarta WTP 5th and 5th onwards.

Dede asked the DKI Provincial Government to increase transparency and accountability in financial management.

"This annual achievement is expected to be a momentum to continue to innovate to improve the quality of transparency and accountability in regional financial management within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government," he said.

It is known that the opinion pinned by BPK to an institution or government agency is an examiner's professional statement regarding the fairness of the information presented in the financial statements.

Meanwhile, the WTP Opinion is the highest award for accountability in the financial management of a government agency.
