There Is A Mass On The Statue Of A Used Tires Burning Horse, BEM SI Warns Intruders

JAKARTA - A number of masses have begun to gather at the Arjuna Wiwaha Horse Statue area, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat since 13.05 WIB.

In fact, a crowd calling themselves the Soekarno Muda Movement burned tires in the Horse Statue area, Central Jakarta. These tires were burned right in front of the barbed wire that the police had stretched.

Based on VOI's monitoring, the Soekarno Muda Movement arrived at around 12.45 WIB. They entered the ranks of demonstrators from the Indonesian Student Executive Board (BEM SI).

The mob immediately put down the tires and covered them with gasoline. Next, they burned the tires.

"We, the Soekarno Muda Movement, conveyed a motion of no confidence in the Jokowi-Ma'ruf government," said the orator.

Feeling that the movement was not part of the All Indonesia Student Executive Board Alliance (BEM SI), an orator who was still waiting for their friend then got into the command car.

"Let's friends BEM SI, we close ranks so that no one will infiltrate," said the orator from BEM SI.

"Today we are not exclusive, we ask friends in front to join. There should be no horizontal conflict between us," continued the orator.

They also continued the demonstration by singing together Buruh Tani. Police officers are still watching without breaking the tire burning action.

Furthermore, around 13:20 WIB the mass of BEM SI continued to increase. A number of students arrived using the Kopaja bus. "Let's protect our friends so that there are no intruders."
