Police Examine 5 Witnesses Related To Pajero Car Collision At MT Haryono Takes Couple's Lives

JAKARTA - Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya examined five witnesses regarding the fatal accident where the Pajero car hit eight vehicles on Jalan MT Haryono, Pancoran, South Jakarta. Where did the witnesses examined come from?

"We have examined five witnesses until this afternoon. From the drivers involved, there were also people who were at the crime scene (TKP)," said Head of Traffic Division of Polda Metro Jaya Kompol Edy Purwanto to reporters in Jakarta. South, Thursday, May 26.

Edi said the police had also conducted a urine test on the Pajero driver with the initials J (23). However, the results have not yet been received.

Until now, J is still undergoing investigation at the Polda Metro Jaya after being arrested because of the alleged trigger for the deadly collision that occurred on Wednesday, May 25, at around 19.30 WIB.

Edy said he did not know the exact cause of the deadly collision. However, for a temporary guess, he confirmed that the Pajero driver was not crossing Jalan MT Haryono at high speed.

"The temporary assumption is that the high speed will not be, because the traffic conditions are busy, it is suspected that it will not be at high speed," he said.

Previously, a Pajero car that crossed Jalan Letjen MT Haryono, South Jakarta, hit eight vehicles. As a result of the fatal accident, 6 people became victims, two of them a husband and wife couple, aka a couple, died on the spot.
