2 Members Escorting People Jogging In Bali With Police Cars Penalsi Make Apology Statements

DENPASAR - Two police officers who escorted joggers on Jalan By Pass Ngurah Rai, Bali, were subject to administrative sanctions. The two policemen who escorted the joggers were in patrol and escort (patwal) cars.

"The results of the investigation have taken disciplinary action in the form of administrative sanctions," said Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Syamsi, to reporters, Monday, October 19.

One member was asked to make a statement of apology and a promise not to repeat his actions again. Other members were reprimanded verbally and made a statement of apology not to repeat their actions again.

"My colleagues have seen who in the video, I do not need to explain more clearly the focus of the police or Ditpropam is related to the violation of guarding procedures committed by traffic members," said Syamsi answering questions on the identities of 3 people who were escorted by a police car while jogging.

From the video circulating, this police car was escorting on the right side of the road. The speed of the vehicle slowly escorted three people jogging while sounding the siren.

The three people jogging in Bali also brought dogs. Behind a white car followed.

One of them pointed at the signpost for Kuta, Nusa Dua, Tabanan street.

The identity of the three joggers who were escorted by the police car was not yet known. Syamsi also did not mention the temporary examination of the police who carried out the escort.
