JAKARTA - The Jakarta Cathedral Church held a mass at the celebration of the Ascension of Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 26 in three sessions.

"Jakarta Cathedral Parish holds mass services in three sessions, namely the morning session at 08.30 WIB, the afternoon session at 11.00 WIB and the afternoon session at 17.00 WIB," said Public Relations of the Jakarta Cathedral Church, Suyana Suwadie in Jakarta, Antara, Thursday, May 26.

The celebrations are held both online and offline. He added that the mass at the Ascension of Jesus Christ is the same as the mass that is held every week. Thus, there are no large processions or events. Likewise with security the same as any other mass.

"There is a security team and also a self-help security team for the people," he said.

For the capacity of the people who perform mass services at the church, he added, around 1,300 to 1,400 people. Currently the capacity is still 75 percent.

“People attending the mass can register on the Belarasa website and it has been implemented across parishes. Meanwhile, those who don't have a Diocesan People's Data Integration Base number (BIDUK) can register on the spot by bringing their ID card and filling out the google form. And use the Care Protect Application," he said.

For the morning mass, it will be led by Father Alb Hani Rudi Hartoko. Next, the afternoon mass was led by Father Bernadus Ch Triyudo Prastowo SJ, and the afternoon mass was led by Father Y Edi Mulyono SJ, according to Suyana Suwadie.
