Luhut Assigned By Jokowi To Overcome The Cooking Oil Problem, Yan Harahap: It's Him Again, Is He Superman?

AKARTA - Democrat Party politician Yan Harahap gave a scathing sarcasm to the Jokowi government, which again gave a new task to the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.

Jokowi appointed Luhut to overcome the problem of cooking oil that had dragged on in the country after recently being given the responsibility by the head of state as Chair of the Water Resources Council.

Yan assessed that the cabinet ranks of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet only had a few people who were competent in dealing with the problems of the underprivileged. Therefore, Luhut once again became the government's solution.

"It seems that Pak Jokowi's cabinet is in a HR crisis," he said on his Twitter account @YanHarahap, Tuesday, May 24.

According to Yan, Luhut has carried out many jobs in the government as well as outside the cabinet, so he is no longer burdened with other responsibilities. Yan also joked, Luhut is not Superman who can solve all problems without causing an impact on other problems.

"It's him again, him again… or is he really 'Superman'?" Yan said.

President Jokowi again gave Luhut a special task to take care of the cooking oil problem. Cooking oil is known to be a problem because the price is still high and the stock is scarce in the market.

"Suddenly the President (Jokowi) ordered me to take care of cooking oil. So since three days ago, I started dealing with the scarcity of cooking oil," said Luhut when opening the virtual GAMKI 60th Anniversary Peak Celebration, which was broadcast via YouTube. Gamki Balikpapan, Saturday, May 21.
