NGO In Banten Concerned Two Rangkasbitung District Court Judges Involved In Drugs

LEBAK - The Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Elementary Body of the People's Order (Bentar) of Banten Province is concerned and regrets that two judges of the Rangkasbitung District Court (PN) are involved in drug abuse.

"Supposedly, the suspect as a law enforcement officer should serve as an example for the community," said the head of the NGO Bentar Ahmad Yani in Lebak, Tuesday, May 24.

The arrests of two Rangkasbitung District Court judges with the initials YR (39) and DA (39) who were arrested by the Banten Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) certainly created a bad image for law enforcement in Lebak Regency. The influence of narcotics is of course not normal thinking and can destroy the future of the nation's generation.

Because of this, the government prohibits the abuse of narcotics and can be prosecuted, even the dealer of illicit goods can be sentenced to death.

However, his party feels concerned and regrets the two judges as law enforcers, but they are involved in drug crimes.

"We hope that the two suspects as legal officers are dismissed if proven in court," he explained.

He said his party as part of the community element is committed to fighting drugs, because they can destroy human life.

Until now, the members of the Bentar NGO have optimized socialization and education for youth so that they do not abuse drugs.

Drug trafficking, in addition to harming oneself, also divides the unity and integrity of the nation, so that drugs become enemies of the state.

"We appreciate the Banten BNNP for being so focused on drug prevention, that it managed to arrest two judges at the Rangkasbitung District Court," he explained.
