Chronology Of 3 Youths Attacked To Rape Underage Girls: Forced To Drink Liquor After Refusing

SERANG - Three youths in Serang, Banten, were arrested after allegedly raping an underage girl they had just met. The three perpetrators had the initials KA (20), SA (22), and SU (20).

All of the suspects, who are residents of the Bandung sub-district, were arrested by members of the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Serang Police after receiving a report from the victim's parents.

"The three rapists are now being held to account for their actions," said Serang Police Chief AKBP Yudha Satria in Serang, as reported by Antara, Sunday, May 22.

"We moved quickly, got a report on Saturday (May 21) night. Sunday morning, they were arrested in Undar-Andir Kragilan Village, Serang Regency," he continued.

According to Yudha, the rape occurred after the three perpetrators became acquainted with the victim in the Modern Area, Cikande. The perpetrator took the victim to a rented house on Saturday morning at around 01.00 WIB, which is not far from the Modern Area.

The suspect persuaded the victim to join a drinking party. The victim had refused, but was forced by the perpetrator to drink the forbidden drink.

In a semi-conscious state due to the influence of alcohol, the victim was raped by the three perpetrators.

"The victim's parents were worried that their daughter didn't come home all night and then looked for and found the victim. After finding out that their daughter was raped, the victim's parents reported it to the Serang Police," explained the Police Chief.

The three alleged perpetrators were charged with Article 81 in conjunction with Article 82 of Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection with a minimum penalty of 5 years in prison.
