Fahmi Idris's Body Was Buried In One Grave With Kartini's First Wife

JAKARTA - Senior Golkar politician Fahmi Idris is buried in the same grave with his first wife Kartini Fahmi Idris Hasan Basri.

The funeral was held at the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery (TPU), South Jakarta.

Kartini Fahmi Idris died in February 2014.

Fahmi and Kartini's marriage gave birth to two children, namely Fahira Idris and Fahrina Fahmi Idris.

A year after his first wife left, Fahmi Idris remarried to Yenni Fatmawati in 2015.

Fahmi Idris' body is buried at the Mampang Prapatan IV Funeral Home Number 20, South Jakarta.

A number of political figures, namely the Chairman of the MPR RI Bambang Soesatyo, the Deputy Chairperson of the MPR RI Zulkifli Hasan, and senior Golkar Party politician Akbar Tanjungikut joined the funeral service at the funeral home led by Kiai Zulfan Zulfahmi.

Also present were DPR RI member Rahmat Gobel and Head of the National Counter-Terrorism Agency (BNPT) Komjen Boy Rafli Amar.

Fahmi Idris died at around 10.00 WIB at the Medistra Jakarta Hospital.

The late had served as Minister of Manpower and Transmigration during the era of President BJ Habibie.

Then he was appointed as Minister of Industry of Indonesia in the United Indonesia Cabinet (2004) under President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).
