Attended Directly By Anies Baswedan's Subordinates, Halal Bi Halal Participant Of PW Muhammadiyah DKI Jakarta Beyond Expectations

JAKARTA - Thousands of Muhammadiyah residents from various regions attended the Muhammadiyah DKI Jakarta halal bi halal at the Muhammadiyah Da'wah Building, Jalan Kramat Raya, Senen District, Central Jakarta, Sunday 22 May.

Secretary of the DKI Jakarta Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership (PWM), Nuswantoro emphasized that his party appreciated the participants who attended the Halal Bi Halal Eid Al-Fitr 1443 H.

In fact, his party did not expect that the participants who attended halal bi halal were beyond what was expected by his party.

The reason is, before the activity started, PW Muhammadiyah only prepared 700 seats for participants to attend. However, on the D day, the number of participants who attended was quite a lot, up to thousands of people.

"Today's activity is a friendship activity. Apparently we have received responses from Muhammadiyah residents outside Jakarta. Thank you for coming to fulfill the invitation from the leadership of Muhammadiyah DKI Jakarta," said Nuswantoro to VOI at the location, Sunday, May 22.

The Muhammadiyah residents who attended came from various cities outside Jakarta. They came after seeing an invitation from social media shared by PW Muhammadiyah DKI Jakarta.

"So the enthusiasm of Muhammadiyah residents outside Jakarta is quite a lot. There are many from Serang, Semarang, Bogor, Tangerang, Indramayu, Pemalang, Brebes," he said.

The number of Muhammadiyah residents who attended was greatly appreciated by PW Muhammadiyah DKI Jakarta.

"It is estimated that over 1,000 participants attended. This is a pretty good appreciation, Muhammadiyah residents can stay in touch," he said.

Meanwhile, the Mayor of Central Jakarta, Dhany Sukma, who was also present at the halal bi halal activity, stated that many tausiyah messages were obtained from Ustadz H. Adi Hidayat which contained the meaning of halal bi halal.

"The point is after halal bi halal, actually leaving this activity is halal, has spoken good words, thinks positively, then doesn't do things that have a negative impact. And we always seek knowledge and looking for useful knowledge," he briefly told VOI.
