President Jokowi Is Believed To Have Great Influence To Win The 2024 Presidential Candidate

JAKARTA - Political observer Arif Nurul Imam assesses that President Joko Widodo has the influence and power to win the presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs in the 2024 General Election.

"In the 2024 Presidential Election, Joko Widodo as President of course still has influence and power. This is because with his authority and position he still has authority. In addition, Jokowi has sympathizers and ranks of volunteers who are ready to where Jokowi's support is directed," said Arif Nurul Imam in Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, May 21.

According to him, from the names of the current presidential candidates, such as Prabowo Subianto, Ganjar Pranowo, Puan Maharani, Airlangga Hartarto, and Sandiaga Uno, the ones Joko Widodo has the potential to look up to or who are often called by Jokowi are Prabowo and Ganjar.

Meanwhile, other candidates, such as Puan Maharani, Airlangga Hartarto, and Sandiaga Uno, in real terms their electability is the class of vice presidential candidates.

"Based on political signals, the direction is likely to be Prabowo or Ganjar. Even though this is still tentative. Jokowi and the volunteers will certainly choose pairs of candidates for presidential and vice presidential candidates who share the same vision and continue Jokowi's work program for two terms," he said.

Arif Nurul Imam said that the presidential and vice presidential candidates who will receive tickets for Jokowi's support and volunteers must have programs that are connected to the programs that Jokowi is currently working on.
