He said that the city government was trying to immediately complete the implementation of vaccinations to increase residents' immunity against COVID-19 attacks.

"We will continue to carry out vaccinations, therefore for those who have not been vaccinated, let's hurry up," he said.

According to vaccination coverage data published on the Ministry of Health's official website on Saturday, the COVID-19 vaccination target in Batam City was 907,317 people and the first, second, and third doses of vaccination were recorded to have covered 104.52 percent, respectively; 92.11 percent; and 44.18 percent of the target.
