Regarding The Acting Regent Of Batang, The Regency Government Is Still Waiting For A Letter From The Ministry Of Home Affairs

BATANG - The government of Batang Regency, Central Java, said that until now it has not received a notification letter regarding the appointment of the Acting Regent of Batang from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

"I'm not hiding information about the appointment of the Acting Regent of Batang because as of Friday, May 20 there has been no notification," said Batang Regency Regional Secretary Lany Dwi Rejeki in Batang, as reported by Antara, Friday, May 20 afternoon.

However, he said, the notification letter for the appointment of the Acting Regent of Batang would be given on May 20, 2022, at 20.00 WIB.

"I am still waiting for the notification letter from the Ministry of Home Affairs which will be submitted to the Regional Secretary of the Central Java Provincial Government. Yes, it can be said that it seems sudden," he said.

Regional Secretary Lany Dwi Rejeki said the Regent of Batang Wihaji will end his term of office on May 22, 2022 so that the inauguration of the Acting Regent will be carried out on Sunday, May 22 at around 10.00 WIB at the Central Java Provincial Government. As for the candidates for the Acting Regent of Batang, he said, he did not know who would be appointed as the Acting Regent of Batang.

"I'm not going to speculate (who is the acting regent) because I really don't know who will occupy the position of Acting Regent of Batang," he said.

Lany Dwi Rejeki added that whoever will be appointed as the acting Regent of Batang can bring development progress in the local area.
