Member Of DPRD To Anies' Office Regarding Miyabi's Gala Dinner Plan: If It Causes Controversy, Don't

JAKARTA - DKI DPRD member Syarif asked the provincial government to review the plan of former Japanese adult film star, Maria Ozawa or Miyabi, to hold a dinner in Jakarta because it caused controversy.

"I ask the provincial government to conduct a deeper study. If it invites controversy, why?" Syarif said in Jakarta, Thursday, May 19, quoted from Antara.

The Gerindra DKI politician is not in a position to reject Miyabi's plan to have dinner with around 50 fans because of the possibility of encouraging the creative economy. However, if it sparked controversy, he suggested that it would be better not to do it.

"I'm in a position not to refuse. It's just that if it causes controversy, it's better not to. I'm in a position to say no, yes, I refuse. But if the assessment is complete there, it is deemed worthy of being presented, please invite it," he said.

Head of the Supervision and Control Section of the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Office, Iffan, said his party had not yet received a permit application from the organizers.

So far, information about the dinner with Miyabi, which is planned to be held at one of the five-star hotels, has just circulated on social media and has gone viral.

"There is no permit application yet," he said in Jakarta, Wednesday (18/5).

Iffan added that his party has an assessment committee for the entertainment of regional artists and sportsmen.

The committee, he said, consisted of a number of elements including the High Prosecutor's Office, the Metro Jaya Police Intelligence, the Legal Bureau, the Satpol PP, the Manpower Service, Immigration and DKI BPBD.

"Everything will assess the suitability of existing norms, what do you want to do in Jakarta, for example, what activities are carried out, are the permits complete, the administrative requirements are appropriate, and most importantly, there must be conformity with our customs," he said.
