Erwin Aksa Adama Team Reported To Makassar Bawaslu, Appi-Rahman Prepares Defenders

MAKASSAR - The legal team of Ramdhan Pomanto (Danny Pomanto) -Fatmawati Rusdi reported the head of the winning team for candidate pair Munafri Arifuddin-Rahman Bando (Appi-Rahman) to Bawaslu Makassar. The Appi team prepared a young lawyer to defend Erwin Aksa.

Deputy Chairperson of the Makassar City PPP - a party supporting Appi-Rahman - Raihan Husain has teamed up with three lawyers to defend Erwin Aksa. Erwin Aksa was reported because of his statement regarding Danny Pomanto's performance during his tenure as Mayor of Makassar.

“I gathered three millennial lawyers who care about Mr. Erwin Aksa. The three of them are Rizkallah Achmadsyah, Rezky, Yogi Pratama, ”said Raihan, confirmed by VOI, Thursday, October 15.

The Danny-Fatma (Adama) Legal Team reported Erwin Aksa to Bawaslu because of a statement about Danny Pomanto's performance when he was mayor of Makassar. According to the Adama Legal Team, Erwin Aksa is considered to have carried out a black campaign against Danny Pomanto

"Yes, Mr. Erwin is only using his right as a citizen of Makassar to criticize his performance, not to criticize Mr. Danny's personal, and he should be responded to with a comment, there is no need to report to Bawaslu, because that is not a black campaign," said Raihan.

"There is no element of error because Pak Erwin is purely criticizing Pak Danny's performance, not attacking Mr. Danny's person," continued Raihan.

Erwin Aksa's statement regarding Danny Pomanto's performance has been published in a number of media. Raihan therefore suggested that Adama's legal team take a path according to the provisions such as exercising the right of reply.

Meanwhile, Adama's spokesman, Indira Mulyasari, said that the problem with Erwin Aksa's statement was not related to the Press Law. Indira said the Appi-Rahman winning team's statement was related to the black campaign so Erwin Aksa was reported to Bawaslu regarding Article 69 letters b and c of the Pilkada Law.
