Not A Victim Of Brawl, A Jepara Muryolobo Resident With The Initials FR Dies Because He Was Attacked By A Youth

JEPARA - Jepara Police, Central Java, confirmed that the victim FR (30), a resident of Muryolobo Village, Nalumsari, Jepara, died after a number of youths ganged up on him.

"So it's purely a case of beatings, not a brawl between youths. However, until now we are still developing the case," said Jepara Police Chief AKBP Warsono in Jepara, Antara, Tuesday, May 17.

Residents of Jepara often associate this case with old grudges between one village and another on holidays or during dangdutan orchestra entertainment events, including inter-village brawls. In fact, continued Warsono, it was a pure assault case.

"Tonight, the Jepara Police together with Kodim 0719/Jepara led by Dandim 0719/Jepara carried out a large-scale dialogical patrol in Nalumsari District, particularly in the villages of Muryolobo, Bendanpete, and Ngetuk," he said.

This is useful for providing education and valid information to the public so that they are not easily provoked by circulating information. The handling of the case is currently still under investigation. The villagers of Muryolobo were asked to control themselves.

"Entrust the handling of this case to us, please help the residents to control themselves, don't be easily provoked and don't play judges on their own because the consequences can actually harm the community," said Warsono.

Jepara Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP M. Fachrur Rozi added that his party was still investigating the case.

The case of the death of a youth from Muryolobo Village occurred when the victim with the initials FR and two friends wanted to buy food in front of the Gandu Market in Bendanpete Village, Nalumsari District after watching a musical performance on Sunday, May 15 at around 17.00 WIB. The victim was beaten by a number of youths until the victim died at the scene.
