JAKARTA - Youth and Youth Leader of the Tulungagung Democratic Party, East Java, RK was removed from his post for allegedly sexually harassing his employees who went viral on social media.

"Meanwhile, we will deactivate the person concerned first. It has been counted since the existence of this case," said the Head of the DPC of the Democratic Party of Tulungagung Regency, Sofyan Heryanto in Tulungagung, reported by Antara , Wednesday, October 14.

The deactivation procession itself was carried out officially, witnessed by representatives of the management. RK who was presented at the internal hearing, was decided to be inactive until the case was legally resolved.

All party attributes in RK's house were also removed. "We made this decision so that the person concerned can focus on solving his personal problems, and so as not to influence party affairs," he said.

The Democratic Youth Organization itself is a wing of the Democratic Party that accommodates young people under 40 years of age.

In the management structure there is no SK (Decree) for the appointment or dismissal of the management. Regarding reporting the abuse case to the police, Sofyan left it to the victim and his family personally.

He supports if there is a police report regarding the case. He also wants to know the extent of this case. He hopes that both parties will openly convey information related to this case.
