Police Detect Rioting Mass Supply Mode, Undercover With Ambulance And Private Car

JAKARTA - The police detected several modes used by the facilitators to supply the rioters' needs.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said the supplies to the rioters were disguised as using ambulances and private cars.

"Some of them use ambulances which are free to move. There are also private vehicles that have all been detected," Yusri told reporters, Wednesday, October 14.

As a result of the provisional investigation, the facilitator supplied food and stones to the rioters. So, they can attack the police.

"There are indications of preparing tools, stones for demonstrations, throwing stones," he said.

But about the figure of the facilitator, Yusri could not comment. The reason is that the police are still carrying out the investigation process.

"We are still exploring everything," he said.

Regarding the chaos in a number of areas of Jakarta, Polda Metro Jaya arrested thousands of rioters of the 1310 action against the Job Creation Law, on Tuesday, October 13. There were 5 elementary school (SD) students who were secured.

"(Of the thousands who were secured) There were even 5 elementary school children who were around 10 years old," said Yusri.

The five boys were secured from several areas. However, two of them were from South Jakarta.

Referring to the total data secured as many as 1,377 people. Nearly 80 percent of them are students.

"Of this number, it is evaluated that 75 to 80 percent are school children. Approximately 900 or 800," he said.
