Pangkalpinang, Central Bangka, Belitung, and East Belitung have entered the Level 1 PPKM area. While Bangka, West Bangka, and South Bangka are still in the Level 2 PPKM area.

Mikron said the local government was still carrying out efforts to prevent and control the transmission of COVID-19, including carrying out vaccinations.
