Central Java Police To Take Strict Action On Corruption Cases Of Rp. 3 Billion For Police Couples In Blora

SEMARANG - The police have confirmed the legal process for two police officers at the Blora Regional Police who are suspected of committing a criminal act of corruption in the non-tax state revenue (PNBP) amounting to Rp3 billion in 2021.

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Iqbal Alqudusy, said that the police's firmness was evident from the completed investigations into Bripka EFJ and Brigadier EM. Subsequently, it was transferred to the prosecutor's office.

"The Central Java Police Chief will not cover up and will take firm action against members who commit violations, especially those that are detrimental to society and state finances," he said in a press release in Semarang, reported by Antara, Thursday, May 12.

Furthermore, he said, the police respect the ongoing legal process.

Regarding disciplinary and ethical violations, he continued, the police were still waiting for a final decision from the court.

"If found guilty, both will undergo a disciplinary and ethical trial," he said. Two police officers who are a husband and wife couple, First Brigadier EFJ and First Brigadier EM, were named suspects for alleged PNBP corruption at the Blora Police in 2021.

The alleged crime was revealed when there was a shortage of PNBP deposits of IDR 3 billion.

From the confessions of the two suspects, the money from the corruption was for online investment.
