Papuan Police Member Bripda EN Who Hits Sanitation Officer In Jayapura Becomes A Suspect

AYAPURA - Brigadier Two EN (21), a member of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Papua Police, was named a suspect after crashing into a janitor, Alwi, to death in the Jayapura Harbor area.

Head of Propam Polda Papua Kombes Sanchez Napitupulu said Bripda EN had been named a suspect with the alleged article, namely Article 311 paragraph 5 and Article 312 of Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation.

The suspect was arrested by officers on Monday (9/5) at his home in the Buncen area, Entrop, Jayapura.

After being criminally processed, Bripda EN, who has reportedly been out of action for 6 months, will be submitted to the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP), said Napitupulu.

Reported by Antara, Tuesday, May 10, the collision case that killed a cleaning worker in Jayapura City and injured three pedestrians occurred when the suspect (Bripda EN) was unable to control the vehicle he was driving because he was drunk.

At that time, EN, who was driving a silver pick-up car with police number PA 8067 AI, passed from the direction of Jayapura Harbor to Argapura in a drunken state and then hit Alwi to death at the TKP and injured three pedestrians, namely Dennis Krey, Kilion Fairnap (29), and Neles. Fairnap (19).

After crashing, EN fled until the joint team was arrested and immediately handed over to the Jayapura City Police for further processing.
