Police Reveal Topat 2022 Eid Celebration In Central Lombok Conducive

CENTRAL LOMBOK - The Central Lombok Police have ensured that the celebration of Lebaran Topat 1443 Hijriah in the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) region will be safe and conducive. The holding of the traditional ceremony coincided with the launch of the 459 Lantan Motor Cross Circuit.

"The peak of Lebaran Ketupat in Central Lombok Regency this year was safe and conducive," said Central Lombok Police Chief AKBP Hery Indra Cahyono, quoted from his official statement in Praya, Tuesday 10 May.

He also said that security, safety, order and smooth traffic were also realized before the event was completed thanks to the cooperation of the TNI, Polri, regional governments, related agencies, and community support.

Previously, he said, the traffic flow was predicted to experience congestion, considering that access to the activity locations was relatively narrow. However, on the "H" day, everything was safe, orderly, and smooth.

"Everything went safely, orderly and smoothly thanks to the cooperation of all parties," he said, as reported by Antara.

A number of tourist attractions in Central Lombok Regency which are the destination for people to travel in order to celebrate Lebaran Ketupat are also monitored to be safe and conducive.

He said there were no significant security disturbances on the peak day of the Ketupat Eid celebration this year.

He also said that there had been an increase in community activity in a number of tourist attractions in Central Lombok Regency since the Eid holiday.

"This means that in general the implementation of the Ketupat Eid celebration in the jurisdiction of the Central Lombok Police is safe," he said.

Dandim 1620/Lombok Tengah Lieutenant Colonel I Putu Tangkas Wiratawan said dozens of TNI members also participated in securing the Ketupat Lebaran. They are on duty, on the path to the location and in the circuit area to provide a sense of security and smooth running of the Motor Cross Circuit launch event.

"Alhamdulillah, the security for the Lebaran Topat celebration in Central Lombok went safely and smoothly. Thank you to all the people who have supported and maintained security in Central Lombok," he said.
