Young People At The Top Of Gerindra's Stewardship, Prabowo: You Could Say Rejuvenation

JAKARTA - Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto spoke about the number of young people at the top of his party's management.

Prabowo said that he deliberately chose young people as an effort to rejuvenate the party he led.

"So it was on purpose. I wanted it to be a sort of rejuvenation or yes, it would accelerate young people to appear," Prabowo said in his video statement quoted on Tuesday, October 13.

According to him, young children should be given more portions so that they are ready later. This is because they are the ones who will take over the leadership of the party one day.

The Minister of Defense in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet also believes that the young people he chooses have extraordinary abilities so that they must be given opportunities in the party.

"If given the opportunity, they will mature quickly and will become good leaders," he said.

On September 20, the Gerindra Party announced the party management structure for the period 2020-2025 which was endorsed by the Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly through Decree Number N.MH-18.HH.11.01 / 2020 concerning Ratification of Amendments to the Party's Articles of Association and Bylaws Gerindra.

In this structural position, senior politicians with the eagle symbol such as Sandiaga Uno, Fadli Zon, and Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Edhy Prabowo sit on the board of advisors.

Meanwhile, young cadres, such as Rahayu Saraswati, who is now running as a candidate for deputy mayor of South Tangerang, are holding positions as deputy chairman of the party along with other names such as Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Sugiyono, and Ferry Juliantono.
