JAKARTA - Coordinator of the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) Boyamin Saiman assesses that the DPR RI curtain replacement project is not considered urgent or urgent. According to Boyamin, the issue of changing the curtains of the DPR RI should be canceled and the budget should be diverted for the benefit of the community.

"Things like this, the household affairs section should order the committee or working group (pokja) and the secretary general of the DPR to cancel and divert this budget for COVID-19." he said.

Furthermore, Boyamin considered that this tender was unreasonable because the winner was the PT with an unreasonable and unusual price offer.

“The winner should be the lowest that qualifies. Second, the bid by the winning PT was far above reasonable because it was above 92 percent. Whereas it should be, usually when the tender is competitive, the figure is 85 percent to a maximum of 90 percent. Even then, the range for the PUPR Ministry to procure goods and services is 80 percent.

It should be noted that the tender for the replacement of curtains at the official residence of a member of the DPR RI has pros and cons. The tender was won by the bidder who offered a price of IDR 43.5 billion, namely PT Bertiga Mitra Solusi.
