PONTIANAK - The Pontianak City Government, West Kalimantan, has threatened to impose sanctions in the form of cutting additional employee income allowances (TPP) for state civil servants (ASN) who are absent after Eid 2022 joint leave.

Pontianak Mayor Edi Rusdi Kamtono emphasized that ASN who did not attend work without a justifiable reason would be subject to sanctions in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) Number 53 of 2010 concerning Civil Servant Discipline (PNS).

"The sanctions range from reducing the TPP allowance to other sanctions, especially without any clear reason, there will be severe sanctions that will be discussed by the Employee Discipline Advisory Board (Baperdispeg)," he said as quoted by Antara, Monday, May 9.

Edi Rusdi Kamtono who directly led the sudden inspection (sidak) to a number of regional apparatus organizations (OPD), one of which is the OPD which has an office at the Integrated Building Jalan Sutoyo. There are four OPDs, namely the Office of Manpower Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services, the Department of Population and Civil Registration, the Department of Education and Culture and the Department of Public Housing and Settlements.

"The results of our monitoring of these four OPD employees are all present," he said.

He asked all ASN to have a high value of sensitivity to their duties and functions, especially in the midst of a rapidly changing society that demands ASN to provide optimal services.

“Innovate and work smart so that services to the community become optimal. Especially now that technology is growing rapidly, it can be utilized," he said.

As a professional ASN, it is appropriate to make policies and programs based on data. Edi said ASN's ability to analyze data is very necessary so that problems in the field are resolved properly.

"I emphasize, today we have started to step on the gas and start working as usual. Ending the first semester of 2022, we will evaluate performance and anticipate conditions on the ground," he said.
