Today Lebaran Ketupat Sasak Tribe Tradition, Tourist Attraction In Mataram Implement Open Close System

MATARAM - Today the Sasak people celebrate Lebaran Ketupat. A tourist attraction in the city of Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has established an open and close system.

Head of the Traffic Unit of the Mataram Police, Commissioner of Police Bowo Tri Handoko, said that the opening and closing system was implemented considering the parking capacity of vehicles in tourist attraction areas.

"So, vehicles that cannot enter tourist attractions because they are full, are directed to other tourist attractions," said Bowo in Mataram, Monday 9 May.

On the other hand, if the number of visitors at the tourist attraction has decreased, there is leeway in land for parking vehicles, the police will allow other visitors to enter.

Bowo also ensures that the implementation of such a system is very effective. This can be seen from the movement of the flow of vehicles that pass around the tourist attraction area. "Therefore, we will continue to be ready to implement the open and close system," he said, as reported by Antara.

As observed, one of the residents' favorite tourist attractions to celebrate Lebaran Ketupat is along the coast of the Southern Ring Road, Mataram City, which is close to the Loang Baloq Tomb.

From this location, there are two tourist attractions that are chosen by residents to celebrate Lebaran Ketupat, namely Ivory Coast and Loang Baloq Beach.

According to police monitoring, the number of visitors in one of the tourist attraction areas could reach thousands. Vehicle parking capacity is also limited, with a capacity of 300 vehicles.

"Therefore, by implementing this open and closing system, it is observed that there are no traffic jams that occur until the conditions are severe," he said.
