Only Noel, Denny Siregar, Jokowi Mania Volunteers Actively Criticizes The Government: Maybe He's The Only Member

JAKARTA - Head of Volunteer Jokowi Mania (JoMan) Immanuel Ebenezer alias Noel assesses SOE Minister Erick Thohir as unfit to run for the 2024 Presidential Election. Social media activist Denny Siregar joined the comments.

Denny did not respond to Noel's statement to Erick. However, he was surprised that JoMan's criticism mostly only came from Noel.

"I've always wondered, how many thousand members does this JoMan have?" said Denny in his Twitter account, @Dennysiregar7, Monday 9 May.

Denny also suspected that JoMan had no members. Noel is the only one who is part of JoMan and also serves as chairman.

"Feelings that arise die first. Don't just die," he said.

Previously, Noel considered his dismissal as the President Commissioner of the BUMN subsidiary PT Mega Eltra based on the political revenge of the Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir.

"Political revenge, otherwise the company that has made a profit will be taken for granted for Erick Thohir's son, Erick Thohir's friend," said Noel in an interview session uploaded by one of the national online media YouTube accounts.

Noel also thinks that the SOE boss treats his subordinates differently. He compared himself to the Commissioner of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) who forged the signature of the Chairman of the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) Jusuf Kalla in an invitation to Vice President Ma'ruf Amin. "That's crazy," he added.

Therefore, Noel thinks that Erick Thohir is inappropriate to run as a candidate in the five-yearly democratic party in 2024.

Noel is known to have recently been removed from his position as President Commissioner of PT Mega Eltra, a subsidiary of BUMN PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero).

The volunteer who won Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin in the 2019 presidential election was removed shortly after becoming a light witness in the trial of the alleged criminal act of terrorism with the defendant Munarman in February 2022.
