Man In Bali Arrested For Stealing Perfume And Bra IDR 31 Million At Victoria's Secret Beachwalk

BADUNG - Police arrested AM, a man who stole perfume and bras at Victoria's Secret Beachwalk Shopping Center, Badung, Bali. The total price of the items stolen reached IDR 31 million.

"The perpetrator admitted that he had committed theft at the Victoria 'Secret store, Badung by prying open a rolling door using wood. The perpetrator committed the theft alone, ”said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kuta Police Iptu I Made Yudistira to reporters, Monday, October 12.

The theft at Victoria's Secret Beachwalk Shopping Center took place on September 30. The shop owner reported to the police after finding items such as perfume and bras at the shop were stolen.

"Seen on the CCTV footage, it is true that someone entered the shop. The missing items were 48 pieces of perfume with a unit price of IDR 279 thousand. Meanwhile, 15 pieces of bras were stolen with a unit price of Rp1.2 million, "said Iptu Made.

From the outlet owner's report, the police searched for the perpetrator and made an arrest. The perpetrator was secured at his boarding house in West Denpasar.

“The perpetrator admitted that he had worked at Victoria's Secret and had committed thefts at the store 13 times. The perpetrator admitted that the goods obtained from stealing were sold online, ”said Iptu Made.
