BANDARLAMPUNG - Thousands of four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles packed the parking lot at Bakauheni Port, South Lampung, on D+3 Lebaran 2022 to wait for their turn to sail to Merak Port, Banten.

Based on ANTARA's observations, at Pier 3 Bakauheni Port, South Lampung, queues of vehicles have been seen since 20.00 WIB, Friday, May 6.

Thousands of these vehicles came to the port in waves and officers directed them to a number of parking pockets at the port.

Even through loudspeakers, officers direct vehicles that will enter the port to a number of parking pockets at several docks so that there is no buildup and long queues of vehicles.

Homecomers who have finished celebrating Eid al-Fitr 2022 in their hometowns will continue to arrive at Bakauheni Port, South Lampung, to various areas on the island of Java.

The peak of the 2022 Eid return flow at Bakauheni Port is estimated on Saturday-Sunday or D+4 and D+5 considering that people will return to their activities on Monday (9/5).
