JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) noted that there are still 3,040 quotas for free motorbike delivery (MOTIS) 2022 in the return period which has begun and will last until May 9, 2022.
"We urge people who plan to make a return trip using a motorbike to take advantage of the program provided by the government, so they can make their return trip safer and more comfortable," said KAI Logistics President Director Ahmad Malik Syah in a statement quoted by Antara, Friday, 6 May.
Free motorbike delivery via train is being organized by the government through the Directorate General of Railways and assigns KAI as the program implementer.
Ahmad explained that registration for MOTIS 2022 has been open since April 20, 2022, both online at http://bit.ly/motis2022 and registration directly at stations serving the program.
During the homecoming period on 26-30 April 2022, KAI Logistics has transported a number of 1,284 motorbikes which were sent to various cities, both on the north and south routes.
"For people who want to join the program but don't have tickets yet, a train ticket purchase facility is provided which can be accessed directly along with registration for free motorbike deliveries at designated stations," he explained.
Until May 5, 2022, the train ticket quota for Pasar Senen – Semarang Tawang (PP) and Pasar Senen – Purwosari (PP) is still available for 6,953 during the return period on May 5-9 2022.
For people who want to register for the free motorbike delivery program, they can buy a maximum of 3 train tickets.
KAI noted that a total of 3,633 participants had registered during the period from April 20 to May 4, 2022, for both homecoming and return flows.
Meanwhile, the peak of backflow delivery is predicted to occur on May 8, 2022, with a total of 427 motorcycles registered and will continue to grow as long as registration is still open until the quota has been met.
Program participants are required to re-register and submit the motorbike on D-1 from the selected delivery date by bringing original documents in the form of tickets, ID cards and STNK.
During the delivery process, program participants can perform self-tracking through the KAI Access application or the kalogistics.co.id portal by entering the delivery number/Proof of Receipt (BTT).
MOTIS participants will also receive an SMS notification of the arrival of the motorbike to be immediately picked up at the destination station with a pick-up limit of 1x24 hours. Participants only need to show the original documents in the form of KTP, STNK and BTT to the officer.
