President Jokowi Distributes Basic Food To Residents Around The Tampaksiring Palace In Bali

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Jokowi distributes basic necessities to residents around the Tampaksiring Presidential Palace, Gianyar, Bali, Thursday (5/5) evening.

Based on a press release received by Antara from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta, Thursday night, residents around the Tampaksiring Palace were happy to receive basic necessities from the President and at the same time being able to meet directly with the Head of State.

"I would like to thank Mr. President, maybe I, as a small citizen, will be able to meet directly with Mr. President for the first time, and for your assistance to small communities," said a resident named Dewa who also received basic necessities.

"Hopefully, your deeds will please the Indonesian people as a whole," he added.

Meanwhile, a resident named Wayan Sukri could not contain his joy in meeting President Jokowi.

According to information from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, Wayan Sukri's face was filled with emotion when he saw President Jokowi standing at the gate of the Tampaksiring Presidential Palace.

While carrying the groceries that were given to him, Wayan Sukri continued to thank the President who was standing not far from him.

"Suksma Mr. I heard this (the presence of the President) my heart trembled," said Wayan Sukri.

Besides Wayan Sukri, Nyoman, a resident of Tampaksiring Village, also felt compassion. Nyoman said he was proud to finally be able to meet President Jokowi in person.

According to him, this is the first time the Head of State has come to the Tampaksiring Presidential Palace.

"I am very proud to meet the President. This is the first time the President has entered the Tampaksiring Palace," said Nyoman.

The distribution of basic needs by the President was carried out at around 16.30 WITA. President Jokowi, wearing a white shirt and brown sarong, distributed basic necessities to the people around the Tampaksiring Palace.
