Drunk, Bali Man Hits Friends With Beer Bottles

KARANASEM - Police arrested I Wayan Purna alias Koling who abused his friend with a beer bottle in Karangasem, Bali. The victim, I Komang Yasa, was injured.

"From this incident, the victim suffered bruises on the back of the head and an open wound on the left cheek, with three stitches and an open wound on the right hand," said Karangasem City Police Chief AKP Putu Sunarcaya, Wednesday, May 4.

The incident occurred on Sunday, May 1 at Warung Lab Milk, Jalan Veteran, Amlapura. At the location, the perpetrator ordered 5 large beer bottles.

In the early hours of the morning, for some reason, the perpetrator suddenly hit the victim with a beer bottle. The victim reflexively brushed it off with his right hand.

"However, the blow from the person concerned (the perpetrator) hit the victim's head on the back of the left side, so that the bottle broke. As a result of the broken bottle, the victim suffered injuries to the left cheek, left earlobe, and the victim's right hand," said AKP Sunarcaya. .

This commotion was resolved on site. The victim chose to report to the Karangasem City Police until the perpetrator was finally arrested.

"The victim is in a full wound condition, the victim was taken to the Karangasem hospital to check the injuries the victim had, then the victim reported the incident to the Karangasem Police," continued AKP Sunarcaya.
