JAKARTA - PT MRT Jakarta has adjusted operating hours related to the implementation of the Transitional Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB). Adjustments take effect from Monday, October 12 tomorrow.
"Operating hours are Weekdays (working days) from 05.00 WIB to 21.00 WIB and Weekend (weekends) at 06.00 WIB until 20.00 WIB," said MRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary Muhammad Kamaluddin in a written statement, Sunday, October 11.
MRT Jakarta also imposes different waiting time or headway adjustments on weekdays and weekends.
For working days, namely Monday-Friday, MRT Jakarta imposes busy hours at (07.00-09.00 WIB and 17.00-19.00 WIB) with a waiting distance of every 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, for waiting distances outside of peak hours, passengers have to wait every 10 minutes to get MRT Jakarta services.
On weekends, MRT Jakarta does not impose peak hours and prepares a service waiting distance provision every 10 minutes.
Restrictions are still being made, especially for carriage capacity, provided that one car is filled by 62-67 people per car.
"The limitation on the number of users is 62-67 people per train (wagon) or 390 people per train series," said Kamaluddin as quoted by Antara .
Even though it has re-entered the period of easing restrictions, MRT Jakarta urges passengers to continue carrying out health protocols through 3M, namely washing hands, wearing masks and maintaining distance.
