Residents Of Ketapang Raid The Bazaar For 20 Thousand Liters Of Cooking Oil, Assessed To Be Helpful Ahead Of Eid

JAKARTA - Residents of Ketapang and Kapuas Hulu regencies stormed the cooking oil bazaar held by a palm oil company. In the bazaar, selling cooking oil reaches 20 thousand liters.

Bazaar activities in Kapuas Hulu Regency are spread across 13 villages. The total amount of cooking oil distributed was 9,168 liters.

Meanwhile in Ketapang, the activity was held in 8 villages in Nanga Tayap District with a total of 10,840 liters of cooking oil.

The head of Lemedak Village, Semitau Sub-district, Toufikurahman said this bazaar was enthusiastically welcomed by residents. This is fairly reasonable considering the price of cooking oil, especially ahead of Eid, has soared.

The Head of Perigi Village, Halil, said the same thing. He said this bazaar is very helpful for the community ahead of Eid.

According to him, cooking oil is one of the important staples needed by Indonesian households.

"The bazaar has really helped the community in obtaining cooking oil, which is currently quite expensive, especially before Eid. Our people are very happy and helped by this bazaar," Halil said, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 30.
