KPK Names Bogor Regent Ade Yasin As A Corruption Suspect In Financial Report Management

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named Bogor Regent Ade Yasin as a suspect for giving bribes related to financial management at the Bogor Regency Government. Ade Yasin was named a suspect along with seven other people.

"Based on the information and available evidence, we found the suspect as giving (bribes, red) AY (Ade Yasin)," said KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri at a press conference at the Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday morning, April 28. .

In addition to Ade Yasin, the other suspects for giving bribes are MA as the Secretary of the PUPR Regency of Bogor, IA as the Head of Sub-Directorate of the Regional Treasury for the Bogor Regency BPKAD, and RT as the PPK of the Bogor Regency PUPR Service.

Meanwhile, the four recipients of bribes were BPK employees representing West Java, namely ATM, AM, HN, and DG. The total number of parties detained in the silent operation was 12 people.

In addition, from the silent operation, the KPK confiscated more than Rp. 1 billion in cash.

Bogor Regent Ade Yasin was previously caught in the OTT which was held on Tuesday night, April 26 to Wednesday morning, April 27. He was snared along with 11 other people, including the Financial Audit Agency (BPK) representative of West Java and officials and ASN in the Bekasi Regency Government (Pemkab).

After the OTT was held, investigators then took these dozen people to the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. They underwent intensive examination.
