JAKARTA – CB (23) the man who grabbed a woman who sells vegetables in the Benhil area of Central Jakarta, could only surrender when the police took her to bars. The resident of Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, admitted that he was forced to take this action because he did not have the money before Eid.

"The results (of the robbery) for the cost of Eid for children and wife, previously worked on construction. It's only been a week since I didn't work," said the suspect sadly to VOI, Wednesday, April 27.

Suspect CB couldn't say much, he was desperate to grab it because he was pressed for Eid needs. Moreover, his current condition is that he has no income, has a wife and two children.

"Yes, how about it, two children. My wife, how do I meet the needs of the family. Actually, I don't have the heart to (steal the bag belonging to the vegetable seller)," he admitted.

CB also regrets his actions. He wants to apologize to the victim for his heinous actions.

"My intention is to apologize to the mother. The target is unthinkable, the name is a mistake," he said.

The following is an apology from the suspect CB who had the heart to snatch a bag belonging to a vegetable seller in the Bendungan Hilir area, Tanah Abang.

"Mrs. Sularmi, I apologize profusely. I have no such intention, ma'am. I also made a mistake, I want to apologize and don't want to do that again. Let me eat at home with my wife's children, I don't want to Doing that again. I'm really sorry, because I have two children. If I was (forced) to go through (the sentence), I would like to give my child something to eat. Hopefully I'll be forgiven by Mrs. Sularmi," hoped suspect CB.

As a result of his actions, the suspect CB was charged with Article 362 of the Criminal Code. The case is still being handled by the Tanah Abang Metro Police Headquarters.
