DENPASAR - Ofran Deven Nitti (23) abused Oktavianus Kll (26) while going to pick up his wife. The victim was also threatened with a sword.

"For evidence, a sword was secured," said Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police Iptu Ketut Sukadi, Tuesday, April 26.

This incident occurred on Saturday, April 23 afternoon at Jalan Nuansa Indah, Pemecutan Kaja, North Denpasar, Bali.

The perpetrator at that time was drinking wine on the terrace of the boarding house. Soon the victim came and parked the motorbike in front of the perpetrator's boarding house.

The perpetrator asked the purpose of the victim to come. The victim said he would pick up his wife who works as a household assistant beside the boarding house.

But the victim's answer to the question 'why?' make the perpetrator emotional. The victim was hit in the face.

When separated, the man took a sword at the boarding house and chased the victim. The victim immediately ran for safety.

From the victim's report, the North Denpasar Police team arrested the perpetrator.

"The person concerned was successfully secured and taken to the North Denpasar Police for further treatment," added Iptu Sukadi.

From the provisional examination, the perpetrator admitted that he did not accept the victim's answer in a yelling tone.

"As a result of the actions in question, the victim experienced pain in the nose and cheeks which prevented the victim from carrying out daily activities and the victim felt scared," said Iptu Sukadi.
