Two Notes Behind The Odd-Even Implementation Of Toll Roads On The First Day

JAKARTA - The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police is evaluating the first day of implementing the odd-even scheme on toll roads during the 2022 Eid homecoming. There are at least two things to note, starting from socialization to the occurrence of overcrowding.

"So yesterday, gage, two important things were noted. First, there are still many people who don't know," said Police Headquarters Inspector General Firman to reporters, Tuesday, April 26.

Then, the second note is that the application of gages on toll roads has an impact on congestion. The reason is still the same, namely many vehicles with license plates that do not match the date that passed.

"Then both yesterday there was a slowdown in places where maneuvers were to be carried out, because of the gage nature, people are confused about gage," he said.

Public ignorance about this trial is the main factor in the problem. Thus, the socialization of the gage trial which took place from April 25 to 27 will be maximized.

For information, the National Police has published a schedule for the implementation of the one-way and odd-even system on toll roads at the peak of the homecoming flow from May 28 to 1, and the peak of the return flow from May 6 to 9 2022. The one-way and odd-even system will be implemented starting from KM 47 Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Gate.

In the gage scheme on April 26, it will be implemented at KM 47 to Palimanan Toll Gate KM 188 from 11.00-13.00 WIB.

Then, 27 April gage starts at 10.00-17.00 WIB at KM 47 to Kalikangkung Toll Gate KM 144.
