JAKARTA - The chairman of the PKS DPP, Mardani Ali Sera, criticized the government for giving priority to the development of the new national capital (IKN) of the archipelago, rather than economic problems that are increasingly burdensome for the community. According to Mardani, the main issue that President Joko Widodo should prioritize is economic recovery. Moreover, Indonesia has just risen after two years of fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Economic issues should be a top priority during the pandemic," said Mardani, Tuesday, April 26. In addition, continued Mardani, there are several government policies that seem to make it difficult for the people. Such as the high price of cooking oil, to the increase in fuel prices and a number of basic needs. "Unemployment is high, prices are going up, VAT is up, fuel, migrants (cooking oil) and others," he said.
