PAN Secretary General's Reporting Response, Muannas Alaidid: Not Logic

JAKARTA - Ade Armando's attorney, Muannas Alaidid admitted that he did not care after being reported by the Secretary General of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Eddy Soeparno over the alleged defamation case. According to him, the report is the right of all people.

"Please report it. It is his right," said Munnas when confirmed, Monday, April 25.

However, he considered the report by the PAN politician to be unreasonable. For this reason, he refused to comment much on the report and handed it over to the police in the process of handling it.

"That the report is not logical, yes," he said.

Apart from that, he advised Eddy to focus more on the investigation that made him the reported person.

"My advice to your secretary general is to focus on undergoing examinations and preparing a reasonable defense," said Muannas. Muannas had also stated that he would report back to Eddy Soeparno. A report will be made if there is a statement from Eddy accusing him of providing false information.

"I will also report back to your secretary general if you accuse me of giving false information," said Muannas.

Previously, Eddy Soeparno officially reported Muannas Alaidid to Polda Metro Jaya. The report concerns allegations of defamation.

The report has been received and registered with the number STTLP/B/2107/IV/2022/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA dated April 25, 2022.

In the report, Muanas was suspected of violating Article 27 paragraph 3 in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 3 of the Indonesian Law number 19 of 2016 concerning ITE and Articles 310, 311, 315 of the Criminal Code.
