Enthusiastic Residents Of Returning Home, Buy Tickets Early For Fear Of Rising Prices At Poris Plawad Terminal

TANGERANG - Ahead of the Eid al-Fitr homecoming, the Poris Plawad Terminal, Tangerang City began to fill with passengers. One of the passengers, Wida admitted that he chose to go home today. Because, he is afraid that when Eid al-Fitr approaches, it will explode.

"Because it's going to be full later, it's going to be packed with kids, so it's better if we go first," said Wida when met at Poris Plawad Terminal, Tangerang City, Monday, April 25.

"Instead of rushing into the crowd because we are bringing these children we are thinking of," he continued.

In addition to fear of a surge in passengers, Wida admitted to going home early. Because I want to see relatives longer.

Furthermore, Wida admitted that he had been waiting for this Eid moment for a long time. Because he had not seen his mother and father in the village for 2 years.

"How about it, bro, it's been 2 years, I don't see it, it's a pity. So it looks like this opportunity after this pandemic has been relaxed, so we'll take the time to get in touch," he said.

"I want to go to Cilacap (Central Java) with my children and brother, there are 7 people," he added.

Wida admitted that he had bought tickets since early April 2022. The goal was to avoid an increase in ticket prices.

"If I order from a long time ago. So it's still the normal price. Yesterday it was Rp. 120 thousand. Now it has gone up to Rp. 210 to Cilacap," he said.

The same thing was said, Dede who intends to go home to Garut, West Java. He claimed to have been waiting since morning.

Dede explained that since the morning the passengers at Poris Terminal have continued to increase. Even at 13.00 WIB, many passengers sat outside waiting for the bus to leave.

"It's really busy, man, there are many (passengers) sitting in front of the bus. The problem is that they were given news of the trip at 16.00," he concluded.
