THR PNS Possibly Disbursed After Lebaran, Rizal Ramli: Don't Have Money? Stop Bad Projects And Debts

JAKARTA - Former Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Rizal Ramli responded to the possibility of late payment of holiday allowances (THR) for state civil servants (ASN) or civil servants (PNS).

Rizal suspects that the government does not have sufficient funds to pay the total distribution of THR for civil servants and pensioners.

"You don't have money already?" he said on his Twitter account @RamliRizal, Monday, April 25.

For this reason, Rizal asked the government to go into more detail in correcting projects that are currently running in terms of the benefits to the state.

Regarding this, Rizal hopes that the government will not increase the burden on the state by outsmarting it through foreign debt. He also mentioned that the government raised a number of taxes to meet the needs of the people to meet the needs of the state.

"Stop spending on random projects, don't just increase taxes/tariffs plus debt," said the economist.

Finally, Rizal joked that problems related to the possibility of delays in paying THR for civil servants should not make the Eid 2022 date that has been set by the central government postponed.

"Don't flirt so that Eid is postponed, it's already forbidden to eat Lebaran," he said.

It is known that the THR for civil servants is prone to liquidation after Lebaran 2022, which was conveyed by the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani during a press conference on Sunday, April 24. Sri said there was a possibility that the payment of THR for civil servants could only be disbursed after Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijriah.

However, Sri will make various efforts to prevent this from happening. So THR for civil servants, members of the TNI-Polri, and retirees can be disbursed on H-10 Lebaran 2022 according to government regulations.
