Dealers In Manado Arrested By Police For Taking Hard Drug Packages

MANADO - The Manado Police Narcotics Unit Operational Team, North Sulawesi Regional Police arrested a suspected drug dealer and about 10,000 pills of Trihexyphenidyl when picking them up at a shipping company in Manado City.

The Head of Public Relations of the North Sulawesi Regional Police, Kombes Jules Abraham Abast, said the suspected dealer with the initials MR (28), a resident of Tuminting, Manado was arrested while taking a package containing Trihexyphenidyl, at one of the goods delivery services in Kombo on Thursday, April 21.

This arrest started when the officers received information that a package containing Trihexyphenidyl had arrived at the delivery service.

"From that information, the opsnal team conducted an investigation and found MR was taking the package, then immediately made an arrest," he said. ten cans containing about 10,000 pills of the hard drug Trihexyphenidyl.

Information was obtained from the perpetrators of MR, the hard drugs were ordered from the West Java area.

"MR and the evidence were then secured at the Manado Police Headquarters for further investigation," said Abast.
