CIREBON - Cirebon City Police Traffic Unit, West Java Regional Police, starting Monday to close the vehicle turning point on the North Coast Line (Pantura) to facilitate the Lebaran 2022 homecoming flow.

"We will close the 'U trun' (turn around) on the Pantura Line starting Monday, April 25," said Head of the Cirebon City Police Traffic Unit AKP Triyono Raharja in Cirebon as reported by Antara.

The closure is carried out in stages by looking at the condition of the homecoming vehicle traffic flow, when it experiences congestion, all small turns will be closed.

"We see the conditions on the ground, the closure is also carried out in stages," he also said.

Triyono said that in addition to closing the back and forth of vehicles on the Pantura Line, his party will also close two intersections of the Pantura Line which are too close together, so that everything can run smoothly.

"There are two red lights that we will close, namely around Evacuation Street and Cideng," he also said.

Currently, said Triyono again, the traffic flow on the Cirebon Pantura Line is still being monitored slopingly, although there are some homecoming motorbike riders passing by.

"Until now it is still sloping, not too crowded, and certainly still smooth," he said again.
